Weaning your baby
By Cecilia Koh
The information provided below is a general guide and is not meant to replace your doctor's advice. If you have any problems or questions, please refer to your doctor.
Do not give your baby solids before he has completed four months because the digestive system is not ready and you may create unnecessary problems. Once your baby has completed his fourth month you can start weaning him onto solids.| READER COMMENTS |

| Posted by Anne Leow 8 September 2008, 03:08:03 PM Hi Ceci,My baby is turning a year old by end of tis mth. Jus wanna check 1)do I still continue rice porridge til he's able to chew, as now he's still taking once rice cereal in the morning and once rice porridge in the afternoon, else is milk with 4hrs interval with total 5 meals time a day. 2) should i now gradually increase to 5hrs, as i see he can last little longer. 3) generally, what age should kids start adult foods? |
