PREGNANCY AND LABOUR

Baby In Your Womb

By Cecilia Koh

The information provided below is a general guide and is not meant to replace your doctor's advice. If you have any problems or questions, please refer to your doctor.

The easiest way to know your baby’s welfare is to monitor his movements. If this is your first pregnancy, you may not feel your baby moving, also called quickening, until about 16-20 weeks. For subsequent pregnancies, you may feel the movements as early as 10 -12 weeks.
